Meet Taylor M Gates

Actor Profile

Born and raised in the small village of Mundelein Illinois, Taylor grew up in a very musical family. Her grandparents founded and run a theatre company known as The Penguin Project, and her mother was always sharing her favorite musicals with her daughter (whether or not they were appropriate for a 6 year old). She stared in her first musical at 7 years old and, when she reached high school, became incredibly involved in the theatre program there. She is currently based in New York City and hopes to inspire others with theatre in the way others have her whole life. She also hopes to be a voice for other jewish, disabled, or queer performers in the community.
